Shatta Wale thrills patrons at Samsung launch

Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale, put up an electrifying performance last Friday at the launch of the new Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge smartphones at Plot 7 Pub in Accra.

The Kakai hitmaker thrilled the crowd with a selection of hit songs and further caused a stir when he dropped a version of the newly launched phone into an aquarium in order to demonstrate the waterproof

capabilities of the phone, which can stay in water up to 30 minutes at a depth of 5ft.

Besides the waterproof capabilities of the phone, it also has the ability to still take pictures and record videos even when submerged in water.

Speaking at the launch, Director of IT and Mobile at Samsung Electronics West Africa, Jaspreet Singh, said his outfit was committed to improving consumer experience with every device introduced onto the market.

“Our latest addition to the Galaxy S range, the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, have been carefully crafted to reset the rules of the smartphone game.

“We are throwing the challenge out there for smartphone enthusiasts to rethink what a phone can do, and all answers lie in the new Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge,” he said.
